HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PICTURE USING YOUR PHONE

Do you still go to the cyber café to scan your pictures and then pay again for them to send it into your facebook profile? Chai! Old age!

What do you use your camera phone for hen, just showing off and occasional snapping of your self. Anyway now you can stop all that. Yes there’ll always be a need for scanner, but to spice up your social network profiles (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn etc, etc) with your pictures doesn’t have to be so hard and cost so much.

Well I understand that in some places the cost and scanning and sending is not much but around where I live…hhmm, let’s not go into that.

Upload your pictures yourself, How? Let’s go
What you need:
A camera phone – to snap yourself
USB cord – to connect PC and phone
PC – your computer
Nokia PC Suite - software
It’s easy, really. You can download straight from the net or buy the Cd-rom from the market. Insert the Cd and follow the instruction on the computer screen to install it.

I use Nokia 5130 to upload my pictures, so I’ll be using it here as example.

First snap yourself with your phone. You can do that right…ok ask your sister or brother or friend. Just pose and …

Now plug your phone to your pc with a USB cord (mine came with the phone but you can get it in the market if you don’t have). Now install the nokia Pc suit in your system. (BTW it’s a good software to have, you can with browse with your phone because of it, but that’s the topic of another day).

Now launch nokia pc suit on your computer, click on the phone symbol. When it prompts you connect your phone with USB. Now click on the File manager icon (helps you to transfer files to and fro phone and pc). Copy your pictures to the pc. You can copy to desktop, my documents, my computer in your pc. I prefer to save in My pictures(my documents).

Now your pictures are in your computer system (or in your sister computer, my sis uses mine). To upload it to Facebook for example, click on upload pictures in your pictures after you are logged on to Facebook. Then click on browse and choose the pictures where you saved it, click on upload; and you have your fine, fine pictures online.

If you want this procedure in a more detailed way with pictures to help you send, for the free ebook to info@moneyinayear.com. Use the subject 'free phone book'.
